Brittany Mudaliar

Chairperson

Hi, I’m Brittany and mum to two children: a girl at Hanslope Primary School and a boy who began Pre-school this year. I have lived in Hanslope for 2 years and have loved getting to know the community.

I attended a Concurrent Education Programme at Bishop’s University in Quebec, Canada. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hons. English Literature and a Bachelor of Education. I am a former secondary school teacher with 9 years' experience. I have also worked in the children’s cancer charity sector, and I am now working for a local education technology business creating content.

I am hoping to bring my experience in the education sector to Hanslope Pre-school Committee. I am excited to be part of this team!

Secretary

Hi everyone, I'm Amber and I'm the Pre-school Secretary.
I'm a mummy to Sophia and Finley.

Sophia has just left Pre-school and is going onto Hanslope Primary in September, my son who will be 2 is starting Pre-school in September.

All the staff are amazing and I look forward to my son enjoying his time there now too.

We lived in Milton Keynes for 12 years and have recently moved to the village in April. We have loved the community spirit and have felt very welcomed.

I have worked in Sales Support for over 12 years, which has been amazing. I then took a short break to spend some time with my two beautiful children.

I’m looking forward to being on the Pre-school committee and excited to work with lovely people to continue to see the

Pre-school grow.

I am a busy mum of two boys. Eli is 3 and started Hanslope Pre-school in September, and he absolutely loves going.

My youngest son Jack is 7 months old.

I have lived in Hanslope for 5 years now, and my husband has lived here for most of his life. He even attended the Pre-school.

I am thoroughly enjoying living in Hanslope, it has such a welcoming and inclusive community spirit.

A little bit about me.....I trained at Trinity College of Music in Greenwich, London and my principal study was the saxophone. I now work as a peripatetic woodwind instructor and currently work for Northamptonshire Music & Performing Arts Trust, travelling between primary and secondary schools in Wellingborough. I have a passion for music education and am keen to help support the Pre-school as best I can.

I look forward to meeting you all, and am thrilled to be part of the incredible team at Hanslope Pre-school.

Debbie Watson

Ordinary Member / Committee Advisor

I’m Debbie and I am an ordinary member of Hanslope Pre-school and their advisor.

A bit about me, after A-levels, more years ago than I like to think about, I went to work for a marketing agency who deliver Performance Improvement programmes and large events for corporate businesses across Europe. This turned in to a seventeen year career eventually seeing me become a Client Relationship Director responsible for using motivational theory to help multi-national businesses achieve their goals through various mediums and for overseeing large conferences and incentive travel programmes all over the world.

The challenging role I was fortunate to have gave me a passion for travel, great food and working to help fantastic businesses succeed. I left to set up a consultancy helping businesses deploy incentive schemes which I did for a short while until I had our wonderful boys and took a career break.

Our boys are 2 and 4, one has just left Hanslope Pre-school and the other has just started and is loving it. I’m originally from Hanslope and the village Pre-school holds a lot of history and importance for me personally. I’m really enjoying being on the committee with a lovely group of people who all want to see the Pre-school thrive for many years to come.

I’ve been living in Hanslope for several years and I love the supportive community it provides.  Both my children have attended Hanslope Preschool and have had positive experiences.

I’m a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist working with Early Years and school-aged children.  I am about to leave my NHS role to work in a specialist school, supporting children with a range of communication needs including learning difficulty and Autism.

My passion for language and communication led me to become the co-founder and a trustee of the charity ‘Stories with Symbols’. We make book-reading video resources to support children with communication needs and have been delighted to form a partnership with Usborne Books.  I’m looking forward to being part of the Preschool Committee, sharing my skills and learning from others!

Hi, I’m Karen and have recently moved from Central MK to Hanslope.

My daughter attends Hanslope Primary School and my son is at the Pre-school, and loves it there!

Before raising our children I worked in the benefits team of a large accounting firm. I then went on to lead a team in the house building sector.

Nowadays my husband and I run our own investment business which gives me lots of flexibility to spend with our children and allows me to work on my passion of helping other children.

Hi, I'm Alishea and I am an ordinary committee member.  I have lived in hanslope for 8 years and love living here.

I have two wonderful children who are 5 and 3 years old. My eldest currently attends hanslope primary and is really enjoying it. My youngest is attending hanslope preschool and loves being in the setting.

I have over 18 years finance and accountancy experience but have decided to take a career break to raise my children. I am a real child at heart and have a passion for EYs development as my eldest has had communication difficulties growing up. With this I have learnt basic level of makaton sign and find all different forms of communication with children very magical.

I feel honoured to be part of this committee and to belong to the team is like food my soul.
